Red City II

Red City II is an abstract painting from the Grounded series. It was created after the original Red City found its new home. The response to that painting was so overwhelming that I wanted to revisit the same source of inspiration. Not to recreate it, but to capture the same atmosphere in a smaller format. Warm earth tones, deep reds and browns are combined with subtle accents of green and purple, creating a rich and layered colour palette. Champagne gold, bronze and rose gold have been incorporated throughout the surface, adding a soft metallic shimmer that changes beautifully with the light. Measuring 50 × 70 cm, the painting is finished with a slim wooden floating frame. The refined frame complements the work and enhances its contemporary appearance while allowing the texture and colours to take centre stage. Interested in Red City II?
